My New Handmade Paper Beads Beacelet

Finally, after a very long time. I made a Bracelet from paper beads. I was confused by The paper beads that I have made sometimes ago, I had no inspiration what  would I made them into. So last week the Idea has final come. I made a bracelet.


I used an elastic nylon to combine all paper beads. The paper that I used ware old wedding invitations for the bigger beads and old cosmetic catalogs for the smaller one.

I used silver color beads caps, at first I thought it was not a good color's combination, but after it was rearranged together I love the color.

I also used a brown stone to give this bracelet an ethnic feel.

I just like it.

So Happy Today

I made cupcakes and sell it. I think I've mentioned it here before. After five days the selling of my cupcakes was  very disappointing. Sometimes all the cupcakes that i made none of them were sold. I was very sad. I think there must be something wrong with the taste of cupcakes. But everyone that i asked to taste it, they said it good, the taste is good. chocolate cupcakes are probably not too enthused by many people around my neighborhood.
So I decide to spread the cupcakes to another place outside my neighborhood,  I choose a small shop near to the center of this city. I put 10 cupcakes for beginning. 
This morning I went to that small shop, I got mixed feeling, afraid and hope.  I'm so afraid because if none of them were sold, i don't know what to do next, what things i should do for living and making money, because i can't be an employer. So i put my big expectation on this. Well, when i arrived to the shop, the old man who is the shop keeper, say that 9 of them were sold, and it made me feel so very happy. He gave the money and i say thanks to him many time. 
I drove my motorbike, back home, and i almost cry because of compassion. I know this maybe too much or over reacted, but I am so happy today...

Here I come again with Paper bead Work, So i found so many Invitation in ware room in the back of my house, some of them still in good condition, so i decided to make something from those paper. So i cut it, rolled it and coated it, and here its come:

Today is my first day selling the Cupcake, I made it 12 piece, and its price IDR.1.000 per piece, I left the cupcakes  on the internet shop near my home, here they are

Paper Bead with Japanese Leters on it

I keep trying to make paper bead, i really have fun making it. So i continue my work. I try to make some beads with Japanese letter on it. I make it with regular white paper, after coating it, its look like bamboo bead ( or maybe just my opinion) , here They are:

My First Paper Bead

Two days ago, I found in Youtube how to make Bead from Paper, I have a lot of catalogs of cosmetic product, and I think i'm going to throw it all. Then i also found www.paperbead.org. They post so many nice jewelries that are made from paper bead. I think this is very good, from waste we can be fashionable heheheh....
